CTRL-OS: Cyberus Technology Resilient Linux
CTRL-OS is a commercially supported downstream distribution of NixOS focused on Embedded Devices. Please contact us for business inquiries.
On top of NixOS' key features, reproducibility and the declarative module system, CTRL-OS offers long-term support for 5 years and is ready for the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). If you're using NixOS 24.05, it is a drop in replacement.
We are still building up the documentation. If you are looking for a detail that is not yet explained here, please reach out to us.
If you are new to Nix, refer to the excellent upstream Nix documentation. If you are unsure where to start with CTRL-OS, check out the First Steps.
Open Beta Status
For the free open beta we support the nixos-minimal package set. We support additional packages on request.
